Admired Football Team Wins Corporate Award

The Saskatchewan Roughriders football team is pleased to announce it has been named a western regional winner among Canada's most-admired corporate cultures. The award comes in the “broader public sector” category, recognizing the Riders' community ownership and relationships with its many supporters.

Marty Parker, president of Waterstone Human Capital, the award sponsors, said, “This award recognizes the importance of great workplaces, but more importantly great workplaces where culture impacts performance.”

Riders' representative Jim Hopson said, “This is a remarkable accomplishment and another indication of our continued efforts to strive for excellence in every aspect. Winning this award is another milestone.”

Since 2005, the Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures program has recognized leading Canadian organizations for cultures that help to enhance performance and sustain competitive advantage.
